Hip-Hop Cares
The Indigenous Hip Hop Cares is a Non-Profit Organization designed to support and elevate Indigenous Hip-Hop culture, celebrate the talent of Indigenous Hip-Hop artists and raise awareness of Indigenous issues.
The Indigenous Hip Hop Cares mandate each year is to produce a series of artists showcases, workshops and master’s classes designed to increase industry knowledge, performance development, marketing and business skills amongst Indigenous entrepreneurs and artists. During our main event the Indigenous Hip Hop Music Expo Convention and deliver industry networking events in-person or virtually designed to encourage partnerships, collaboration, and the development of mentor/ mentee relationships.
Mission
Indigenous Hip Hop Cares is focused on delivering a series of in person & virtual classes, artists showcase & interactive workshops designed to build the skill level of Indigenous Hip-Hop performers and non-indigenous hip hop performers. That will reinforce pride in being Indigenous, building the skill sets and professional networks of emerging Indigenous Hip-Hop artists, celebrate Indigenous culture and talent, and elevate awareness of Indigenous Hip-Hop while simultaneously educating non-Indigenous people about Indigenous culture, history and issues.
